Services Specific Terms and Conditions: PaaSoo Links

PaaSoo Links is a shortened URL service available either via APIs or client dashboard. A shortened URL service is a tool to convert a long or complex URL to a shorter, more condensed version. With PaaSoo Links, customers can easily embed and share compact and user-friendly links into their text messages, emails, conversations, or any other communication channels, without the need to display the entire lengthy URL.
The following Specific Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) are in addition to PaaSoo Terms of Use (“TOU”) and govern your use of PaaSoo Links. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the TOU, these Specific Terms shall control.
YOUR USE OF PAASOO LINKS IS SUBJECT TO YOUR COMPLIANCE WITH THESE TERMS. BY ACCESSING AND USING OUR SHORTENED URL SERVICE (“THE SERVICE”), YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THESE TERMS, PLEASE DO NOT USE THE SERVICE.
Account. To access the Service, you are required to create an account with PaaSoo. By registering for an account, you acknowledge and agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information as requested. If you share your account credentials with other team members ("Authorized Users"), you will be responsible for all activities or actions that occur under your account, whether authorized or unauthorized.
User Submissions. You hereby grant to PaaSoo the right to use, copy, import, display, reproduce, perform, distribute, create derivative works, alter or modify all URLs and other information provided by you to PaaSoo in connection with the provision of PaaSoo Service and for other business purposes, including of PaaSoo’s group companies.
Client Content. You are solely responsible for the content you upload, transmit, or share with other users through the Service. You represent and warrant that all material and content you provide in connection with your use of the Service:
(i) shall not infringe or violate any third party rights, including without limitation any intellectual property, privacy and publicity rights;
(ii) are in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws, rules and regulations, privacy policies and third-party terms and conditions
(iii) have been obtained in accordance with all necessary consents, approvals or other authorizations or permissions.
You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for ensuring that your use (and the use of your Authorized Users) of the Services does not violate this section.
Billing and Payment. You shall pay a monthly or yearly subscription fee based on the selected pricing plan (Standard or Premium). The Service is prepaid, that means you are required to make prepayments in advance for the Service, and the subscription fees will be deducted from the prepaid balance. Except as otherwise agreed, all the subscription prices for our pricing plans are indicated in the currency specified on the pricing page. PaaSoo reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Service if the prepaid balance is insufficient to cover the applicable fees. In the event of account termination, PaaSoo will refund any unused prepaid balance remaining in your account.
Redirection and Data Collection. When a user clicks on a shortened URL, they will be redirected to the original URL associated with it. During this redirection process, we collect certain information, including the user's IP address, user's browser name and version, user's browser's HTTP headers user-agent and referrer. You can check this information from your client dashboard.
Data Privacy. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling collected data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection, processing, and storage of your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
General Restrictions. You are strictly prohibited from:
(i) accessing the Service or exporting data from the Service to create a competing URL shortening service or similar service;
(ii) reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or attempting to discover the source code of the Service;
(iii) distributing, sublicensing, assigning, sharing, selling, renting, leasing, pledging, or otherwise transferring the Service to any third party without PaaSoo’s prior written consent;
(iv) engaging in any Prohibited Activities as defined the following section;
(v) accessing, interfering with, or attempting to bypass security measures or monitoring systems of the Service;
(vi) removing, or altering proprietary rights or other IP notices on the Services.
PaaSoo reserves the right to immediately revoke your access if you breach these restrictions or pose security or legal concerns.
Prohibited Activities. You, and your Authorized Users, will not and will not permit any third party, to use the Service for any illegal, harmful, offensive, defamatory, harassing, obscene, infringing, misleading or malicious purposes. This includes but is not limited to spamming, phishing, distributing malware, or engaging in any activity that infringes upon the rights of others. We reserve the right, without liability or prejudice to our other rights, to disable, remove, or block links that
(i) have been put on any blacklist;
(ii) have been reported to be suspicious;
(iii) contain more than one redirect;
(iv) have been reported as potential malicious/spam, etc.;
(v) contain unacceptable contents (pornography, violence, etc.);
(vi) violate the rights of third parties, or
(vii) violate these Terms.
Intellectual Property. All intellectual property rights and ownership of the shortened URLs and the Service itself remain the property of PaaSoo. You may not modify, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on the shortened URLs or the Service without prior written consent from PaaSoo.
Indemnity. You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless PaaSoo, its Affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, subcontractors and suppliers (“PaaSoo Indemnitees”), from and against all claims, demands, suits, proceedings, damages, costs, expenses, liabilities (including, without limitation, reasonable legal fees) or causes of action brought against or incurred by PaaSoo Indemnitees arising out of or related to
(a) your content and/or services;
(b) your breach of these Terms or any violation of applicable laws; and/or
(c) any third-party claim including but not limited to allegation of intellectual property, privacy or publicity infringement concerning your content, services or use of PaaSoo Links, or
(d) the combination of PaaSoo Links with any product, service or other material not provided by PaaSoo.
Limitation of Liability. While we strive to provide a reliable and accurate Service, we do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or completeness of the Service or the shortened URLs. In no event shall PaaSoo be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service or reliance on the shortened URLs.
Termination. These Terms, as may be updated from time to time, will commence on the date they are accepted by you and shall remain in full force and effect until terminated according to this section. Either Party may terminate these Terms at any time and for any reason, by providing the other Party with a thirty (30) days’ advance notice. In such event, you shall send the written notice to support@paasoo.com. Upon the termination effective date, all applicable rights and access granted to you hereunder will automatically terminate. PaaSoo reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service without notice for violation of these Terms.
Change To These Terms. PaaSoo may update these Terms from time to time. For this purpose, PaaSoo recommends that you check this page on a regular basis. In the event of material change or pricing change, PaaSoo will provide you with a prior written notice at least thirty (30) days in advance of the effective date. This notice will be given in your account portal or via an email to the email address owner of your account. Except as otherwise specified by PaaSoo, updates will be effective upon the effective date indicated at the top of these Terms. The updated version of these Terms will supersede all prior versions. Following such notice, your continued access or use of the Services on or after the effective date of the changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of any updates. If you do not agree to any updates, you should stop using the Services.
